A Morris man in a ragged jacket held up the Robin for all to see him still alive.
The Robin having been dispatched, a Queen is chosen. A cake with a hidden bean is distributed.
The lady discovering the bean becomes the Queen of the Bean.
Amazing! Bracknell's Deputy Mayor Tina McKensie-Boyle found the bean, and was lead out to receive the crown and select the King.
The King received his adornments too.
A devil is added, just to even things up.
All now proceeded to the tree where the King and Queen buried the robin and a refrain was sung.
